Job Responsibilities 1、 Manage and perform new developments  by overseeing material recommendations, evaluating them, specifications,  material trials, testing and approvals. 2、 Contact and visit existed and new  local suppliers regularly to provide expert advice for formulation  developments. 3、Ensure that company are aware of new local  supplier/material (Resin, Fillers, Pigments and Additive) developments. 4、Work closely with all relevant  colleagues to provide effective formulations. 5、Liaise with Hamburg colleagues  regarding new product developments, samples and color matches. 6、Prepare and maintain development  plan in line with our local Business strategy. 7、Keep primary and secondary reports  regularly aware of all activities 8、Participate in local business  review meetings. 9、Comply with all company guidelines. 10、Be aware of company Code of Conduct  and comply with all aspects and guidelines 11、Avoid any situations which might  conflict with anti-trust guidelines Individual Requirements: 1、Self-disciplined and well-motivated 2、 Excellent communication skills both  oral and written Chinese and English 3、 Knowledge of local supplier net  work 4、 Project management skills preferred 5、Good organization, time management  and planning skills 6、Knowledge of technical compounds  and compounding process 7、Demonstrable experience in polymers  and polymer processing Qualification Requirements: 1、 Polymer engineering graduated or  equivalent degree 2、 Computer literate with knowledge of  current operating systems and software 3、 Knowledge of technical plastics  formulations essential, include additives and pigments. 4、 People management skills desirable  with team work
